No single model should have the last word.

Ask Tone began with one conviction — that the answers worth trusting come from weighing several minds, not deferring to one. So we made it simple to ask once and hear from many.

We built a board, not a bot.

Ask a single model and you get a single, confident answer — with no sense of what it overlooked, where it might be wrong, or how a different model would have responded. For trivia, that's fine. For the decisions that actually matter, it isn't.

People who care about getting things right have always sought a second opinion — a colleague, a panel, a board. Ask Tone makes that the default for AI: ask once, hear from several of the best models at the same time, and get their answers reconciled into one you can weigh — agreements, disagreements, and the reasoning behind both.

“A confident answer and a correct answer look exactly the same — until you have something to compare it against.”

What we believe

Many perspectives beat one.

Good judgment has always come from weighing more than one view — that's why we have courts, boards, and peer review. A single model, no matter how capable, is still a single point of view. We bring plurality to the way you use AI.

Reconcile, don't just stack.

Three answers in three tabs isn't insight — it's homework. The value is in seeing where the models agree, where they part ways, and why. So synthesis isn't a feature bolted on the side; it's the point of the product.

Earn trust, don't extract it.

No ads, no dark patterns, no quietly selling what you ask. Pricing is plain, usage is shown in clear credits rather than tokens, and a free model is always there if you run low. We'd rather be the product you pay for than the one you are.

Privacy is the default, not the upgrade.

Your conversations are encrypted per account. We don't train on your content, and we don't read your chats. Strong privacy shouldn't be a premium tier — it should be the floor everyone stands on.

Who Ask Tone is for

Ask Tone is built for people whose work runs on good decisions and good answers — and who already reach for AI to get there.

  • Founders and operators pressure-testing a call before they make it
  • Engineers and analysts comparing approaches and catching the errors one model misses
  • Consultants, researchers, and writers who need more than one take to trust their own
  • Anyone who has opened three AI tabs to ask the same question three times

If you've ever doubted a confident answer from a single model — or wished something would just reconcile the differences for you — Ask Tone was built for you.

Why now

There have never been more capable AI models — and no single one is best at everything. They reason differently, they're strong in different domains, and they disagree with each other far more often than most people realise.

Rely on just one, and you quietly inherit its blind spots as your own. Ask Tone turns that fragmentation into an advantage: many models, one place to ask, one reconciled answer — so the breadth of the field works for you instead of leaving you to choose a single horse and hope.

Why we built this

Most AI products are racing to make one model feel like the only one you'll ever need. We think that's the wrong finish line. The goal was never to crown a single model — it's to help you think more clearly. A board of advisors doesn't exist so you can defer to it; it exists so you can decide better.

I built Ask Tone because I kept noticing the same thing: ask one AI a question and you get one confident answer, with no way to tell what it missed. I've never trusted a single source for anything that matters — I get second opinions, I read more than one paper, I ask more than one person. Ask Tone is simply that habit, built into the way you use AI.
