The short version
- New subscriptions come with a 7-day money-back guarantee.
- After that, you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period — we don’t charge you again, but we don’t refund the current period.
- Credit top-ups never expire, but are non-refundable.
7-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a new subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. To keep this fair while still letting you try the Service properly, the guarantee applies where usage in those first 7 days is within a reasonable trial allowance (currently 200 credits). Beyond that, the subscription is treated as used and the guarantee no longer applies.
After the first 7 days
Subscriptions renew automatically. After the 7-day window, charges are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are simply not charged again. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it becomes inactive. Your data is retained in line with our Privacy Policy so you can return, until you delete it or your account.
Credit top-ups
Credit top-ups are one-off purchases of additional credits. They do not expire, but they are non-refundable. Because top-ups are consumable digital goods made available immediately, the money-back guarantee above does not apply to them.
Team workspaces
For team plans, credits are pooled across the workspace and are non-transferable outside it. Seat changes take effect as follows: adding seats applies immediately and is billed accordingly, while reducing seats takes effect at the next renewal. If a workspace is deleted, any remaining pooled credits are forfeited and are not refundable. The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to a workspace’s initial subscription on the same basis as above.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe). The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
Requesting a refund
To request a refund under the money-back guarantee, contact us at support@asktone.ai (or use the billing topic on our contact page) within the 7-day window, from the email address on your account.
Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us first — we will usually be able to resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
